Product Description

Monomethyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ) is a white, crystalline organic compound used primarily as a polymerization inhibitor and antioxidant. It is synthesized from hydroquinone and is an efficient stabilizer for monomers like acrylics, methacrylates, and vinyl acetate, preventing them from polymerizing prematurely during storage and transport. MEHQ is also a stabilizer for inks and adhesives and is used in the synthesis of agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and dyes.
